Competitive Teams

DanceSpace is proud to offer two nationally recognized competitive programs that create opportunities for dancers at every stage of training.

DanceSpace Crew is designed for dancers seeking more performance opportunities and competitive experience with a lower time and financial commitment. Crew members participate in three local competitions, represent DanceSpace at community events, and perform in the annual DanceSpace Concert each June. In addition to weekly rehearsals, Crew dancers strengthen their training through weekly technique classes in their chosen disciplines.

CREW Achievements

DanceSpace CREW dancers and programs have earned recognition both regionally and nationally, including:

  • Regional Overall Wins, including Highest Scoring Routine and Top Studio honors

  • 2025 National Champions

  • Regional and National Choreography Awards

  • Sportsmanship Awards

  • Best Costume Awards

  • Numerous dancers receiving Regional and National Talent Scholarships

  • Numerous dancers receiving Collegiate Scholarships

  • Alumni accepted into prestigious collegiate dance programs

Zoom Parent Meeting Wednesday May 13th 7:00-8:00 pm

DSPC is home to passionate, driven dancers who commit to an intensive, all-genre training program. Unlike many competitive programs, DSPC dancers are required to train in every discipline, developing versatility, strength, artistry, and exceptional technique across all styles of dance.

Throughout the season, DSPC dancers attend multiple conventions and competitions, with a required National Finals event held every other year. Team members also receive exclusive opportunities to train with professional guest artists and expand their creative voice through original choreography presented in our bi-annual Young Choreographers Showcase.

DSPC is more than a competitive team—it is a commitment to growth, discipline, artistry, and excellence in every form of dance.
