Reagan Hoeft
Founder, Owner & Artistic Director
Reagan Hoeft is the Founder, Owner, and Artistic Director of DanceSpace, a nationally recognized dance studio celebrating its 15th anniversary season. Originally from Michigan, Reagan began her dance training at a young age before pursuing a professional career in New York and Los Angeles. Her extensive experience as a performer, choreographer, educator, and entrepreneur has shaped her approach to dance education and her commitment to developing the next generation of artists.
Throughout her career, Reagan has been recognized with numerous scholarships, awards, and professional accolades. Her choreography has received countless honors at regional and national competitions, and she has shared her expertise as an educator with respected organizations including Dance Educators of America, Dance Masters of America, and MusicWorks Teaching Seminars. Reagan is also the creator of Kidgroovz, a groundbreaking dance education series that introduced an innovative approach to teaching young dancers and continues to be celebrated today. Her contributions to dance education reflect a lifelong commitment to creativity, innovation, and excellence in teaching.
As the visionary behind DanceSpace, Reagan has spent the past 15 years building an organization recognized for exceptional training, artistic excellence, and a strong sense of community. Under her leadership, DanceSpace has developed nationally recognized competitive programs, cultivated an outstanding faculty, and provided countless dancers with opportunities to pursue their artistic goals. Reagan is also regarded as a leader in the dance industry, particularly in studio ownership, entrepreneurship, and women in business, combining her passion for the arts with thoughtful, innovative leadership.
At the heart of Reagan's philosophy is the belief that dance is often one of the last things we teach. She believes the most meaningful lessons learned in the studio are confidence, integrity, resilience, kindness, accountability, and self-worth. Her greatest professional fulfillment comes from watching dancers discover who they are, realize their potential, and carry those lessons far beyond the studio.
While DanceSpace is one of her proudest professional accomplishments, Reagan's greatest joy is her family. She treasures life with her husband, Richie, and their twins, Charlie and Hudson, who continue to inspire her both personally and professionally. For Reagan, family, community, and the opportunity to positively influence young lives remain at the heart of everything she does.
