Emma Sammoury

Emma (Em J) was born and raised in Colorado. Joining DanceSpace in 2012, Em J has studied ballet, pointe, tap, jazz, hip-hop, and contemporary, as well as participating in many other technique classes. Her favorite styles of dance are tap, contemporary, and ballet, but she is always ready to jump into any style of dance. Her undying passion for dance sparked her love of teaching and choreographing. As a part of the DanceSpace family for going on 12 years, Em J is eager to continue to teach and work alongside the wonderful DanceSpace faculty and staff. She is a DanceSpace alum and was a member of CREW for 4 years. Additionally, she is in her Junior year of college, demonstrating her equal focus on dance and education. She is majoring in History with a minor in Dance at the University of Colorado Boulder. Emma is very excited to continue being a part of the DS family this year, especially in this new role!
